AKF Calls For Queensland Mayors to Place a Moratorium on Development Applications Threatening the Koala

9 March 2017 –

The Australian Koala Foundation has written to the Mayors of Redland City, Brisbane City, Moreton Bay and Logan City to request that they place a moratorium on all Koala Habitat Development Applications in their Local Government Area (LGA) immediately and also  a moratorium on the removal of any tree species that are needed for the long term future of the Koala in their LGA.
