Sponsors & Supporters contribute to a healthier environment and brighter future for one of the world’s most cherished species – the Koala. At the same time, they enjoy the benefits of being aligned with one of the world’s leading conservation organisations – the Australian Koala Foundation.
The AKF provides an independent voice for the Koala and does not accept any government funding. We therefore rely on supportive organisations, projects and individuals around the world.
Corporate Supporters
Supporting Little Oakey
Lotte has been an invaluable supporter of the research and conservation work being done at Little Oakey near Crows Nest in South East Queensland. Little Oakey is AKF’s research station and reserve which is currently the site for a PHD research study on the effects of fire and other environmental events on Koala habitat and populations. Little Oakey also provides excellent refuge for Koalas and other native wildlife in the area.

Thank you for your support Lotte!
Supporting Quinlans
Nature’s Path – Envirokidz is a loyal sponsor of Quinlans, AKF’s research station and environmental reserve near Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Their support has allowed for the enhancement and maintenance of Quinlan’s natural environment and its excellent Koala Habitat. It is now home to a huge range of native birds, animals, as well as Koalas.
The work to increase and protect biodiversity continues with the much appreciated help of Nature’s Path – Envirokidz.
Thank you for your support Nature’s Path!
Supporting the Koala Kiss Project
Lindt is a fantastic supporter of the Koala and has helped to get off the ground the very first Koala Kiss Project in the Gwydir Shire NSW. Lindt’s involvement allowed the AKF to develop the first steps of developing software that can identify ‘kiss points’ between fragmented landscapes.
With a new Kiss Ranger on board the project is moving towards an exciting new future for the Koala.
Thank you for your support Lindt!
