KOALA WOMAN SAYS

The Hume Highway cuts through this large electorate north of Melbourne, there are scattered koala populations on the fringes at Romsey (near Mt Macedon), and east of Kilmore in the Kinglake National Park, however this population would have been almost wiped out in the 2009 bushfires. There are regular sightings around the Sugarloaf Reservoir just west of Yarra Glen.
