Introducing Billie and her playful joey, Blinky. New mother Billie isn’t your typical sleepy Koala – she’s got spirit, sass, and a whole lot of maternal love. With a hidden mischievous side, she’s the daredevil of treetop exploration and is often spotted lounging on the tallest trees of the bush. But now that she’s a mum, her priorities have taken a heartwarming shift.
Billie’s world changed when she welcomed little Blinky into her life. Overnight, her daring nature was tempered with a protective instinct. A true “helicopter-parent”, she always cradles Blinky close as they snooze and swoop him up from unstable branches.
Then there’s Blinky – cute, curious, and carefree! With tiny paws and a knack for getting into trouble, every moment is an adventure. You can tell Billie beams with pride, and she guides Blinky through their bush home, showing Blinky the best branches for snacking and the comfiest ones for snuggling.
By symbolically adopting Blinky and Billie you’re not only supporting the entire wild Koala community, but you’re also becoming a part of the extended Koala family. Your monthly donation plays a crucial role in the ongoing conservation efforts that strive to protect these Koala families and their habitats. Through your support, we can ensure that Koalas like Blinky and Billie can continue to peacefully inhabit the Australian bush.
When you adopt a Koala, you receive a beautiful personalised adoption certificate with a photo of your Koala, a welcome letter, Koala stickers, and more. And if you are in the area you can drop in and visit the adorable Koala you adopted! *(Cost of Koala adoption does not include park admission fees).
*We cannot guarantee however, that the adopted Koala will be available for viewing on the day so it is always best to contact the zoo or park prior to your visit to avoid disappointment.
Please note: Koalas are not pets. This is a symbolic Koala adoption, or a ‘foster’ program. Your monthly donation, which is a twelve month commitment, goes towards the work of helping save Koalas in the wild; so by adopting one of these gorgeous Koalas, you will be helping their less fortunate wild cousins! The Adopt a Koala program is not tax deductable and is a twelve month program.
