Mr Darcy's Diary

Well done mum! You make me so proud. Dont forget that Save the Koala Month is approaching fast. What are you going to do this year to save the Koala?
I was on Facebook the other day and saw this video of a labrador called Fred and the nine ducklings he has adopted. Makes me tired just thinking about it! When does Fred get time for a nap? I think it would be easier to Adopt a Koala . They are less work. It got me thinking though, Dogs really can protect wildlife. I started to reminisce of the good old days. I had an ancestor called Max who used...
I was watching TV with Mum yesterday and I saw the story about the dog who became an Honorary Police Dog even though he was very OLD – nearly 13. I am nearly 8 in human years so I have a long time to go for my work to save the Koala. Video: Max becomes Queensland's first honorary police dog

Merry Christmas everyone! I am looking forward to relaxing over the Christmas holidays (my tummy is already rumbling wodering what mum will be cooking for Christmas dinner) and will be back again on the 8th of January 2018, fully rested and ready for a year of many exciting changes. The Koala needs our help more than ever - just read mum's latest diary to see why - stay tuned in 2018 for more...
I just finished reading The Extraordinary Life of Pikelet, a marvellous book about love and adoption! Pikelet was rescued at only seven weeks old from the pound's death row for untreated rickets. He is now happy, healthy and a handsome Australian ambassador for rescue dogs. Did you know you can Adopt Koalas too? For one dollar a day we can keep our Koala neighbours safe in those trees!
Well, Mum and I have been at Quinlans and we have BEEN VERY BUSY. Even though Ian does most of the work, Mum and I always put up the memorial tags and Mum absolutely loves doing that - she says it makes her feel so grateful to people who care enough to support our work and that she also thinks about what is important in life. I usually swim in the billabong while Mum does all the hard work, but...
DID YOU KNOW IT IS INTERNATIONAL CAT DAY? I NEVER KNEW CATS HAD A SPECIAL DAY. KOALAS DO TOO! I absolutely love my cat brothers and you know they have never been outside. Never; can you imagine that? ! Mum said “they just cannot be trusted not to kill things, even though they have ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING THEY NEED". Make sure your Golden Retriever (or other fur people in your life) celebrate Save...
