About Buttonworks:

Buttonworks Australia is a family business owned and operated  by Liz and Mike Murray, who began making wooden craft buttons in 2001.  As their product range grew so did Buttonworks and 2 of Liz and Mike’s daughter’s, Keli and Liza, have since joined the business.

Their product range developed from a love of Australian timbers, to include souvenirs, gifts and jewellery featuring natural and urban icons, native flowers, birds and animals.

With a focus on sustainability, our products are designed to be compact, lightweight and safe to send overseas. All of our design, manufacturing and assembly is done in our studio across the bay from Melbourne, on the Mornington Peninsula.

Buttonwork is registered with the Australian Made Campaign allows for each of our products to carry the Australian Made logo. They use several Australian timbers to make our products, these include Mountain Ash, Jarrah, Blackwood and Myrtle.
