Koala Woman Says
There were 7 reported sightings in 2023 at Griffith University’s Gold Coast Campus, with another west of Nerang. Where are they? Gone the same way as the habitat, with only 5% left. This part of the Gold Coast is described as the “City without a Plan” and is a great example of how developers (the “white shoe brigade”) worked with pro-development Governments (Joh Bjelke-Petersen’s) to develop at any cost, and this started back in the 1950s. The Koala Protection Act will stop any more of this nonsense occurring in other areas.
