Bundaberg is in this electorate. Further south there are a few Koalas around Hervey Bay and possibly some in Cordalba State Forest west of Childers, but that’s about it. The best coastal habitats have been cleared for sugar cane, and forested areas in the hinterland are of lower quality or pine plantations.
