Koala Woman Says

With only 1.6% of potential habitat left, we might expect there were no Koalas left in this electorate. In the last few years there appear to be a few Koalas hanging on in the Banks Street Reserve in Alderley. This Reserve adjoins Enoggera Creek which gives some connectivity to bush further west but Koalas have disappeared from here too. These Koalas will go extinct in the next few years, not even the national Koala Protection Act will save them.
