I write with strong hope that our Japanese supporters and their families are safe and the recovery following the earthquake and the tsunami can proceed quickly. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the victims of this terrible disaster.

We know we have many Japanese supporters such as our Gold Sponsor Lotte who has been a loyal committed supporter of the koala and we particularly hope that members of the Lotte family are safe and well.
