Hello to all Koala lovers,
 

Hello to all Koala lovers,
 
Today I wrote the following letter to 127 federal politicians who have their electorate in Koala habitat.  Many of the electorates have now lost their Koala population completely and only 5 electorates have a Koala population of more than 1000.
 
If you are an Australia, then you need to contact your local politician and say that you expect them to support the Koala Protection Act.
 
For overseas readers, please join the Koala Army and Urban will instruct you on how to support the Koalas in Australia.

Koalas are disappearing. Loss of koala habitat and koala food trees (eucalyptus leaves) is the leading koala threat. Our cuddly koalas are loved around the world. Often called a koala bear, they are actually marsupials not koala bears. Please help koalas by supporting the Australian Koala Foundation. Find koala information here – Save the koala!
