Adopt Gidget

Sex:
male
DOB:
May 10, 2018
Location:
West of Moree, New South Wales

Gidget is a beautiful wild koala situated in the heart of the small country town Moree, New South Wales.

Gidget lives out west, where it is renowned for dry and drought like conditions. Koalas primarily need to eat leaves that are lush and juicy to ensure a long and healthy life.

New South Wales has experienced many droughts as well as bushfire over the years, forcing Koalas to search for water which is typically considered unusual behaviour.

A dehydrated koala is highly vulnerable, weak and at risk of losing its life.

Gidget represents all koalas who are struggling to find and maintain a nutritious and beneficial diet in drought-stricken regions.

Please note: Koalas are not pets. This is a symbolic Koala adoption, or a ‘foster’ program. Your monthly donation, which is a twelve month commitment, goes towards the work of helping save Koalas in the wild; so by adopting one of these gorgeous Koalas, you will be helping their less fortunate wild cousins! The Adopt a Koala program is not tax deductable and is a twelve month program.
