Koala Woman Says

The only Koala record is from 1937 in Castle Hill on the bank of Cattai Creek. This area was mainly developed in the late 1800s. Further north there is some woodland at Box Hill and again along Cattai Creek. I am confident there were many koalas in this area at one time, why are they gone when there is habitat and connectivity to places where there is still the odd Koala?
