Bradfield

Koala Woman Says

This area had a large logging industry up until the 1850s and is a good example of the best land with the best timber being cleared. Koalas get pushed into poorer-quality habitat where they may survive in far fewer numbers for a couple of decades but inevitably head for extinction. All the Koala records are from Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park in the northeast of the electorate, and there have been none since 1979. Happy to hear from any locals who might have seen some.
